I’m loving the Synology/Docker combo. Would be curious to know if anyone has an elegant solution to get the Docker container to connect to smtp on the parent os?

How do you get settings to actually save in a docker container? If I restart it, it start with default settings again and all my work is lost

You must create a directory on your Synology, and when you link the homedirectoy to the jenkins home directory with the options by docker. Important is, the jenkins user must have write and read permissions on the local folder (the new created on die ds). a good example is the config from gitlab by synology.

How can I make the containers restart when the NAS restarts? Every DSM update requires a reboot and the containers turn off! Not much use if you are out of the house when the power goes off or if you want to auto-update DSM.

What Synology model are you using to run this? I am impressed how little resources it takes.
