Recently, a surge of IT professionals and respected bloggers have attempted to revive Token Ring, a most vile protocol, by pumping Fiber Channel down it’s dark gullet.
Here is a picture of the enemy. Notice the evil, dark shape, defined with several serrated “teeth”. Do you want that in your datacenter? Of course not!
